Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required and is designed to be completed in approximately 25 minutes or less. Before beginning, unpack all frame sections, rocking-base components, hardware, cushion, and headrest, and confirm that all parts are present.

1. Connect the curved rocking-base frame sections and horizontal support bars using the supplied bolts and washers. Install the hardware loosely at first so the frame can be aligned before final tightening.
2. Complete the rocking base by connecting the remaining support bars and frame sections. Keep the bolts slightly loose until the base is fully aligned.
3. Join the two center seat panels using the specified screws.
4. Attach the two outer seat/back panels to the center section to form the complete curved papasan seat.
5. Secure the assembled seat section to the rocking base. Align the shorter legs with the outside holes and the longer legs with the center holes before tightening the connections.
6. Install the woven rattan headrest at the top of the chair using the supplied hardware.
7. Once all components are correctly positioned, gradually tighten all bolts and connections evenly.
8. Place the thick tufted cushion inside the assembled chair and adjust it so it sits evenly across the seat and back.

The manufacturer specifically advises not to fully tighten the screws at the beginning. Complete the seat and base alignment first, then tighten all hardware once the chair is properly positioned. Spring washers are included as an optional supplementary accessory for longer screws where needed.

After assembly, place the chair on a flat, stable surface and confirm that the rocking base moves smoothly and all connections are secure before use.
