Shipping Policy

1) Order Processing & Delivery Time

  • Processing time: Orders are processed and ship out within 1-2 business days after we receive your order.
  • Estimated delivery: 3–8 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and carrier.
  • Peak-season notice: During high-demand periods, warehouse workloads may be higher. All timeframes are estimates and actual delivery may vary based on carrier capacity and local conditions.

2) Where We Ship From (U.S. Warehouses)

We fulfill orders from multiple U.S. warehouse locations and will auto-route from the best warehouse based on your delivery address and inventory:

  • East: New Jersey
  • West: Los Angeles, California
  • South: Atlanta, Georgia

3) Shipping Fees & Coverage

  • Contiguous U.S.: We offer free shipping on most orders delivered within the contiguous United States.
  • Remote/expensive routes: For certain remote addresses with unusually high transportation costs, free shipping may not be available. You’ll see any surcharge (if applicable) at checkout or we’ll contact you before shipment.

4) Carriers & PO Box Policy

  • We partner with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other reputable carriers.
  • The system automatically selects the best carrier based on destination, product size/weight, and service availability.
  • PO Box addresses: Some carriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes. If your order contains a PO Box address and the selected carrier doesn’t support PO Box delivery, the order will be flagged as an exception. Our support team will contact you to update the address or, if we cannot reach you, the order may be canceled and refunded.

5) Areas We Do Not Ship To

We currently do not deliver to the following U.S. territories or military addresses:

  • State/Territory codes: PR, HI, VI, AE, AP, AK, GU, AS, MP
    • PR – Puerto Rico
    • HI – Hawaii
    • VI – U.S. Virgin Islands
    • AK – Alaska
    • GU – Guam
    • AS – American Samoa
    • MP – Northern Mariana Islands
    • AE / AP – U.S. military/diplomatic addresses

Please exclude these regions when placing orders.

6) Returned Shipments (RTS)

A. Customer-related reasons (e.g., incorrect address, address change after shipment, uncollected pickup, unreachable recipient):

  • Once the return is received and checked in at our warehouse, we will refund the order minus the round-trip shipping cost.

B. Carrier-related reasons (e.g., label damaged in transit, returned without a specific reason):

  • After the return is received and checked in, we can reship your order at no extra cost or issue a refund—your choice.

7) Damages Upon Delivery

Please inspect your items at delivery. If any damage is found:

  1. Note the damage with the driver on the delivery receipt (if applicable).
  2. Take clear photos of:
    • Outer carton(s) and shipping label(s) (full label visible)
    • The damaged area(s) of the product
    • Your order details (screenshot or number)
  3. Contact us within 5 business days at support@rattankind.com with the above evidence.

Resolution: Based on packaging and product damage evaluation, we will reship or offer compensation proportional to the order amount.

  • If a return is required, we will provide a prepaid return label (RL) when applicable.
  • Please return items with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • After the return is received and verified, refunds are typically issued within 10 business days to the original payment method.

8) Tracking & Delivery Updates

  • A tracking number will be emailed once your order leaves our warehouse.
  • Delivery windows may be affected by weather, local access restrictions, or carrier capacity. We appreciate your understanding during peak periods.
